As a longstanding contributor in the Hillcrest community, Mr. Carmen Lucci IV saw an opportunity to build a special niche in an already extraordinary neighborhood! Babbo Grande, a dining experience that doesn’t offer just one kind of cuisine, but a combination menu so that everyone who dines at Babbo Grande may experience French and Italian cuisine under one roof! 

His vision was to expand the existing French cuisine menu (specializing in crepes), and take it to a level of bi-cultural cuisine by adding generations of Italian family recipes to the menu. As a business owner, Carmen’s vision was to ensure lasting relationships with Babbo Grande’s guests by providing generous portions at reasonable prices and to provide an ambiance equivalent to dining at a close friend’s home.
